The Language of Flowers

I am "addicted "to books. I can go about one week without ordering and them whammmmoooo -

back to thrift books and amazon books to muse and muster about ordering, usually falling victim within hours to the delectable delight of receiving a book in the mail.

I also review books for Story Circle Network and receive those books for free. They are excellent  and I thoroughly enjoy writing the review.  I take the responsibility very seriously.

Today our NaPoWriMo prompt is to write about flowers and this ebook linked below on gutenberg.org is immediately available for perusal:

However, I want to hold it, turn the pages, peruse the drawings, read the flowery meanings, be stimulated by the words and just hold the book. I am ordering it from thrift books.

Since my recent foray into cactus I chose that word and its assigned meaning, warmth, from Kate Greenaway's The Language of Flowers first published in 1884

cacti  -  warmth

various cacti

huddled enmasse

entangled roots

prickly situations

my temperature changes
